Our story began on Chicago’s South Side, where Herman Glickman, Harry Martin and Max Weiss founded a confection company in 1921, united by a love of rich chocolate and deliciously indulgent confections.
In 1948, the first Queen Anne Cordial Cherry was introduced: a whole maraschino cherry suspended in a creamy center and enrobed in smooth milk chocolate. It quickly became the company’s most successful confection.
Queen Anne returned to its Chicago roots in 2006 when it was purchased by World’s Finest Chocolate. Today, that tradition continues with the classic cordials consumers know and love, alongside new flavors.
