Are Queen Anne Cordial Cherries pitted?
Yes, all cherries are mechanically pitted. However, cherries naturally contain pits, and despite our best efforts, pit fragments can occasionally remain. As noted on the product carton, please bite carefully.
What is inside a Queen Anne Cordial Cherry?
Queen Anne Cordial Cherries are made with a maraschino cherry center floating in a creamy fondant.
The chocolate has a hazy appearance on the surface. Is it okay to eat?
Yes. The whitish coating is called “chocolate bloom” and is safe to eat. It can occur when changes in temperature cause migration of sugars or fats within the chocolate to the product surface. While it may affect the appearance, it does not affect the product’s safety.

It is best to store them in a cool, dry place at a consistent temperature. Extreme heat can expand the liquid and crack the chocolate shell, while refrigeration can sometimes cause the chocolate to “bloom” or discolor.
